Horn Park bus update

10.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 30th Mar 2009

Local Liberal Democrat councillors are following up reports that the Horn Park extension to the B15 bus route is not working as well as it should be after residents complained about poor timekeeping and the buses occasionally turning back at Yorkshire Grey or Cliftons and missing out Horn Park completely.

Liberal Democrat councillor Paul Webbewood said "It isn't surprising that there have been some teething problems and hopefully Transport for London (TfL) will be able to fine tune the timetable to sort these out. However it is unacceptable if buses are being turned back without reaching Horn Park.

Cllr Webbewood added "I hope that residents do not suffer in silence. They should report any incidents like this to TfL or to me."

To report any bus problems please ring Transport for London on (0845) 300 7000 or go to the website on www.tfl.gov.uk. Alternatively you can contact Cllr Brian Woodcraft or Cllr Paul Webbewood.
